The brilliant chef Nir Zook has done it again!! Nir opened a new tres chic restaurant called MAPU in the center of the popular bubbly city Tel Aviv. Not only are his dishes delectable but they are KOSHER as well. Mapu is located inside the  PRIME CITY BOUTIQUE HOTEL.

Even before our tuchases hit our chairs we were offered cocktails by the cheery waitress. We decided on the Mapu Cocktail and two specially ordered ones.

After getting our cocktail buzz going on, and enjoying sitting next to the fresh vegetables and spices laid out on the shelve by our side, enticing us, we were ready to be seduced by the famous Chef Nir Zook's  chef D'oeuvre! We started with a VARIETY OF BREADS- shaped grissini served with tomatoes, horseradish, and vine leaf paste (the vine leaf paste is absolutely unique and phenomenal!) , the GOOSE LIVER TERRINE- pickled dry figs and Japanese mustard leaf salad- so soft and melt in your mouth!! and GARDEN SALAD with lemon dressing- cheeky and crunchy!

For our main dishes -The SALMON AND PEA DUET-Grilled Salmon, very dominant over  the  tasty submissive garden pea ravioli served on the side, WIENER SCHNITZEL-  Tel Aviv style with pickled shallots, served on a beautiful cut tree trunk, was so tender and so good that we were slaves to it with every bite , BEEF FILLET MEDALLIONS- on za'atar kale+rose petal potatoes,  SUPERB!

Dessert-
Orange Flan- creamy and sweet, a slutty Volcano chocolate ball with mandarin cream -and warm chocolate syrup poured over it- an absolute sexy and pleasurable naughty dish and a perfect ending to a wonderful gastronomic evening.

Mapu is definitely one of THE HOTTEST and trendiest new restaurants in Tel Aviv worth going to! The cuisine is not simply delicious , it is succulent because Nir puts a lot of heart, soul and affection in all his hands touch.

What better place to hold the super talented designer's RIMMA ROMANOS fashion show then at the opening of the amazing LARA banquet hall.

We arrived at the glamorous reception around 19:45 and were welcomed with tasty bubbly and delicious wines.While mingling between the beautiful people of Israel we munched on the delectable cuisine being passed around, cooked by Zeev Tamarov (Lara's event chef).

With Zipi Romano , PR Publicist, who organized this magnificent event and celebrated her birthday as well! Happy Birthday !

After feeling tipsy we were ready to be seated at the magnificent intensely long tables to watch the fashion show and then devour the glorious dinner to be served.

Rimma Romano's designs are not only tres chic and unique but are also super sophisticated designs made for women of grace and urbanity. Rimma shares this wonderful air of talent, sophistication and flair with her amazing wife ZIPI ROMANO -the stylish and charming PR genius who produced this masterful event fabulously as she always  does.
