*BLACK SEA*

                                                              ~ BLACK SEA ~

                                                                 ~  NA ZDOROVIE! ~

A treasure of a restaurant found at the Hatachana, in the old Rail Station in Tel Aviv. Located on a rooftop where you can enjoy the beautiful view of old Jaffa city and a great summer sea breeze.

We were welcomed by the sweet hostess, Ron, who recommended we try a very fresh summery cocktail that she herself concocted. It consisted of Crem de Casis, strawberry and lemonade, totally delish and leaves you happily slightly sloshed!!

Ron lavished us with starters! Roasted Red Peppers - with a marinade of honey & garlic, covered with cheese crumbs on top, formidable!. Miniature Peppers- stuffed with cheese and served with Polenta, finger-licking good! and Okroshka- cold soup based on yogurt and egg. Ceaser Salad with Shrimps, crunchy and appetizing , Fresh Vegetable Salad- olive oil, red onion , herbs and sour cream, very earthy and Lavash-  with Salaguni cheese and chopped greens which was delectable.

Main Courses - Seafood Pasta "Black Sea" gratifying and heavenly, Grilled whole grey Mullet- crispy, with a delicate, mild, fragrance of spices which was so impossible to stop eating till there was nothing left but the bone!  Steak Entrecote -(300g) with tomato chutney and baked potato, was delicious with a soft juicy virginal pink moist center, Lamb Chops- melted in our mouths, very full bodied,  and Sinta Steak- totally succulent! .

                                                                Delicious Desserts

The Black Sea Restaurant is a magical place with a kind hearted, professional staff (Ron is amazing!!) and outstanding cuisine. It is definitely a must go!
