CORDELIA OUR LOVE!

Oh Cordelia, Cordelia, we are totally in love with you! Um, and no , we are not talking about King Lear's daughter Cordelia and not about Cordelia Botkin! We are talking about the most phenomenal Cordelia , the beautiful Cordelia restaurant located in the old city of Jaffa, Tel Aviv.
Upon entering Cordelia we were overcome with a sudden urge to burst happily into tears in awe of the beauty surrounding us. It was as if we entered a fairy tale story set in a magical kingdom.

We were greeted by the charming chef and owner Nir Zook and seated by his handsome partner Eli .
Eli spoiled us with some bubbly - Veuve Clicquot  and  delicious fruit cocktails.

While feeling warm and tingly we decided on our starters:

 Prune Tomato Cream Soup  with Feta and Onions- was oh so good, it took us to a dreamland of warmth and security that we never wanted to return from, Goose Liver Terrine, Apricot and toast- was so smooth and velvety it caressed our tongues, Fresh Garden Salad with Goat Cheese, asparagus and nuts- refreshing.

For our superb Entrees - The Beef fillet in demi glace served on cabbage Ravioli- delectable and the European Sea Bass.

Obviously we girlies have a sweet tooth so dessert is ALWAYS a must!! Especially, since it was beautiful chef Ariana's birthday celebration at Cordelia. Some goodies were definitely well deserved!!!

 We had the Pavlova fresh fruit and Toffee/Cashew ice cream- sweet and tangy  and the Gormandize which is a variety of tasty sweets.

In conclusion, if you live in Israel, Cordelia is a MUST, if you are traveling to Israel ,Cordelia is a MUST, and if you weren't planning on coming to Israel then you MUST book your ticket and fly straight there and land in the stunning Cordelia restaurant.

HOLIDAY WINE

So the Jewish New Year - ROSH HASHANA- is right around the corner and what better gift for yourself and for the household where you will be celebrating at than WINE!! (and delectable pure grape juice for the kids). Us sisters love red:  red lipstick, red dresses, red lingerie and of course for us winos- RED WINE! 

The Carmel Vineyard and winery was founded by Edmond James De Rothschild in 1882 and it's products are exported to over 40 countries! It is the LARGEST winery in Israel.
The Selected series is a well known and best selling series throughout Israel. The SELECTED series consists of Red wines, White, Bubblies, and Rose. The new design brings with it superb elegance.
In the SELECTED series there are 8 wines from 2014:
White- Emerald Riesling Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot,  and Bubbly Moscato.
Rose- Zinfandel Rose.
Red- Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz.


We received an exceptionally flavorful wine : Selected Merlot 2014-  dry red wine, young, refreshing and fruity, deep purple shades and a wonderful aroma of blackberry.

Food pairings for the Selected Merlot 2014- Dishes of beef, chicken, quiche, cold meat, light meals and more. It is recommended to chill half an hour before being served.

For all the kids at home (for the young kids and for kids ages 0- forever ) we suggest the Red Tirosh Carmel Grape Juice! Pure natural grape juice, made from 100% grapes from vineyards scattered all over Israel. The Red Tirosh Carmel Grape Juice has no added sugar, water, color or preservatives!

ACT LIKE A LADY!!

In order to find your prince charming you'll probably have to go through a few breakups. Breakups are often sad, humiliating and hurtful but you should always exit a relationship with dignity and grace!

1. Do not STALK! - Yes, you all know who you are ;) Stalking is easy these days! Especially through social media, (AKA Facebook), stalking (on your now ex) is a piece of cake but does it really accomplish anything? No, it just makes you miserable. Miserable seeing "HIM" out with friends having fun, while you are at home crying, miserable seeing him with a new girl....just miserable. Do you think he is wasting his PRECIOUS time stalking you? NOPE! He is out having fun and so should you! Get dressed up, put your sexiest perfume on and go out for  a girls night out at the hottest bar in town!!! Oh, and don't forget to get a delicious, pretty cocktail or two or three, you get our drift ;)!!

2. Do NOT act desperate-  Acting desperate will not bring back your ex it will actually push him away even more. Or your ex will see how desperate you are and he will actually take advantage of that. He will party with his friends, date other girls and then....call you and date you and dump you again. He will know you will ALWAYS be there for him no matter what he does.

3. Do not bad mouth your ex in front of friends and acquaintances. Hey you did date this guy, if he was so horrible why were you with him? It makes you look really bad.

4. Okay so you are out with your besties having those delicious sexy cocktails, you've had one to many, hey they were DELICIOUS and you were in a crappy mood so they were well deserved!! That's all fine darlings but put that damn phone back in your bag! Ya, you know what we are talking about....drunk texting!
