If you are in the mood for super delicious seafood yet not in the mood to go to a restaurant then Bar barbunia is your answer. Bar Barbunia is a wonderful seafood bar (with a wonderful restaurant right across the street),  fun music and really cool clientele. This bar was once kept a secret for only whoever knows about it.
Smoking is allowed, drinking is part of the scene and when we mean scene we mean SCENE! Back in the days Barn Barbunia was THE place for the COOLEST people ever: singers, actors, models, all the wonderful eclectic bohemians of Tel Aviv. Till this day the vibe stays the same and the cuisine is an absolute delight.

Upon entering the bar we were welcomed by a pure happy ambience of great music and happy people. We were seated at one of the table bars ( there is a bar and a couple of tall bar tables, and also one room in the back if you happen to celebrate an occasion with quite a few people) and given our menus. Oh how excited we were to physically be at this legendary bar!!! And now to also sink our teeth into the wonderful food that awaited us, what a pleasure!!

We started off with with a selection of  9 extremely good salads consisting of potatoes salad,sour krout, eggplant salad, pickles, sour cabbage, tehini and more!!! For our appetizers we ordered the  Ceviche -as well as the Fish Sashimi, both fresh and outstanding!!

While waiting for our main dishes we looked around and tried to think of all the amazing personalities that spent long nights of alcohol, seafood and captivating conversations! Oh how we wish we could spend one night back then! Well, we are here now and it's still awesome, with new kinds of intriguing characters and we are ready for our main dishes!!
We ordered the Seafood Mixed Fried Shrimp and Calamari which was so crunchy, fresh and delicious, the Sea Bass and Sea Bream both delectable!

For desert we ordered the Creme Brulee and Creme Bavaria! Perfect sweet ending to a specatacular evening!

Bar Barbunia is a spectacular place to just hang out and enjoy the crowd and food or for basically anything you wish, a date, birthday, girls night, boys night- ANYTHING!! You will defintly leave with a smile!

The Dining Hall restaurant, located between the Cameri Theater and the Israeli Opera house is a kibbutz style dining hall restaurant with long sharing tables which is perfect for family meals. This restaurant is tres kid friendly! With it's modern decor yet cozy atmosphere we couldn't wait to see what cuisine was in store for us by the talented chef Or Malka . What is so absolutely great about The Dining Hall is that there is a Vegan menu and  most dishes are Gluten free. Chef Malka whips up delicious up to date Israeli modern food, as well as traditional dishes, made in a unique way. Healthy, colorful, happy dishes.

We decided on the “Steven’s Choice” menu, where the sweet owner Steven, chooses your meal for the evening.
We were started off with fresh bread with Creamed Eggplant- labneh, date honey, pine-nuts-was fresh and tasty, Chopped Chicken Liver- crisp onions, and pickled cucumbers, which was absolute authentic Israeli heaven.
We were then served Red Tuna - pickled cabbage, apple, creme fraiche yogurt, and melon vinaigrette, full lasting flavors and very refreshing,  Eggplant Carpaccio- tehina, date honey, almonds, fetta cheese , onion, with natural magical tastes,  Grilled Beets- feta, creme fraiche, apple, chimichurri, pecan, fresh clean flavors and the Garden Herb Salad-  nuts, fruit raisins, yogurt, date, vinaigrette, was incandesent with flavor and texture.

For our main dishes we had the Grilled Sea Brim- zucchini spaghetti, tomato, mint- dish with a twist- whipped labneh, was cooked to perfection, absolute finesse and the Sliced local Sirloin-  potato curls, fried egg, broccoli, tomato chimichurri, the sirloin was perfectly cooked, tender and glorious.

Sweet Tooth time- Desert!
The Pavlova kiss- Chantilly cream, strawberry sorbet. lychee, strawberry coulis and fresh fruit- ohhh the flavors danced in our mouths, and what a wonderful surpise was the strawberry sorbet inside!
The Chocolate Milky- chocolate mousse, whipped cream, tuile, hazelnuts, creme anglaise-was rich, creamy and heaven on our tongues!

The Dining Hall is definitly the place to go for a fresh healthy meal for girls night, family occasions, dinner before or after the opera or show, or just for a fun delicious experience of delecatable cuisine and amazing staff! Warmly and highly recommended!

Located in the heart of Tel Aviv, Punchline restaurant awaits its custumers with open singing arms!

What better way to spend an evening then enjoy a delicious dinner while the servers sing on stage and between the tables!
An awesome experience all year round!

We were seated close to the stage and couldn't wait for the lovely evening to begin.
As soon as we were seated we were served by the talented singing waiters delicious starters of: Hummus - warm fresh and creamy! Eggplant with Tahini which was an absolute delight, warm bread which was delectable, fresh and flirty cabbage salad and delicious vegetable salad! Magnifique! !

While enjoying our appetizers we enjoyed singing from the professional  waiters who walked among the tables and got us moving our hands and shoulders to the wonderful beats.

When it was time for our delicious entrees of Entrecote steak we were already in a hyped up spectacular mood made by the superb talented singing servers! The steak entrecote was an absolute delight in our mouths, like a lover's tongue, and the musical performances while eating was impeccable!

Punchline is an absolute heavenly delight of wonderful cuisine with amazing ingredients, great ambience,and amazing staff! A must go for every occasion!

Raising money for charities is always a go for us. So when we were invited to Loewenstein Hospital Rehabilitation center charity gala dinner we didnt think twice about going.

Lowenstein hospital is the largest rehabitlitation center in Israel.
Patients come to Lowenstein from all over Israel, from all sectors, civilian and military as well as from abroad.
The Charity dinner was hosted by celebrity TV host Dvir Benedek at the lovely Venetian event hall  who welcomed the talented David Naor to perform on stage with his unique voice! We were fortunate to get to hear him sing our favorite ... opera! Absolutely amazing! As well as the famous soprano singer Yael Levita whom took our breath away with her elegant beautiful voice. All this while the famous Raanana Symphonette Orchestra was  playing in the backgorund!!

In between all these magnificent performances we were served delectable starters of house bread, smoked duck breast , smoked salmon, scorched sirloin, foie gras, and Panchanella salad.
Seconds: Miso Salmon and Venetian lilly's. For entrees we had a choice off  beef filet or goose leg and for dessert a platter of fruit and a variety of delicious sweets.

A wonderful event for a wonderful cause!

Who deosnt love Italian food?! The pizza pasta dishes are delicious! Filled with a variety of healthy ingredients as garlic, oregano, basilicum, olive oil, tomatoes and much much more, you can't but not LOVE Italian!
 We are obviously always on the lookout for the tastiest dishes around the world and most importantly the most professional and kind service as well to share with you all. Obviously then, we were so happy as to find La Lasagna, a kosher, authentic Italian restaurant located right in the middle of the chic Dizengoff street.

With it's comfy tables, elegant table cloths yet informal, and cozy ambience we could'nt wait for our evening to begin. You have a choice either to sit indoors or outdoors. Due to the beautiful year round weather we opted to sit outside.

We were greeted by Joseph, the kind helpful owner who started us of with delicious appetizers:a massive cheese platter filled with delectable cheeses and bread, Bruschetta Pomodoro and Mozzarella-  with tomatoes, olive oil, garlic and Mozzarella, so fresh  and pizza Margarita, simplicity at its best!

For our entrees we ordered the Butaraga Pasta - for fish lovers this delicacy is an absolute delight , Eggplant Pasta , soft, fresh with a perfect combination of ingredients , and the Four cheese pasta which was fragrant  and full of delightful cheesy flavors (generous portions) with excellent texture, it was outrageously delicious!

Our dessert - Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, fluffy, creamy and a joy to eat!  Tiramisu- an absolute treat!
