INDIAN STYLE!
If you are a looking for Indian food in Israel , and not just Indian food but the BEST Indian food then we have found the place for you! INDIRA!!! Right in the heart of the city of Tel Aviv. They serve a HUGE variety of authentic Indian dishes prepared by a talented Indian staff and served by them as well. Straight as you enter Indira you can smell the wonderful aroma of all the delicious Indian spices. Absolutely AMAZING!
We started with the Vegetable Samusa-maida flower shell, with mashed boiled potato, onions green peas and chili filling which was perfectly spiced and wonderfully fluffy, Mungdal Pakori- famous Indian falafel, crispy, Onion Rings, and Garlic Naan which was lightly crispy and tres garlicky.
For our main dishes: A whole Tanduri chicken- perfumed with lemon rind, curry leaves,and mustard seeds, which was impeccable, the Beef Biryani, sharply fragrant ,soft and tender and the Vegetable Curry which is perfect for all you vegetarians.
Indira is all about homy Indian food but definitely tres luxurious as well! You leave feeling hot and spicy and always ready for more ;)
We were served a variety of tasty ice creams for dessert.
We highly recommend Indira restaurant for dates, occasions and just for a wonderful authentic tres delicious Indian meal.
