If  you are looking for a cozy little eatery with delectable cuisine, then THE LOCAL is most definitely the place to go.

Located conveniently in the center of Tel Aviv, this charming restaurant waited for us with opened, professional , kind arms.

Girls night out must always involve some kind of alcoholic beverage...obvi!! Olesya, the beautiful bartender of The Local, got us totally tipsy within the first ten minutes of being seated with mouthwatering , tres strong cocktails! THE SHABO-  rum , liqueur, orange juice, lemon and homemade wildberry puree. THE KISS- infused vanilla, Campari, lychee liqueur and ground sage.

            Not only do these SHABO cocktails seduce you by appearance and taste but they are fun as well.You have to take the top cocktail glasses ,pour them into the bottom glasses and mix for extra sexiness. BOOM!

Our delightful server, Yarden, started us of with FRESH FOCACCIA WITH DIP, soft, warm and fabulously fragranced. BAKED CAULIFLOWER with garlic confit, parsley, and fresh Tahini. SPINACH and FETA RAVIOLI, tomato seeds, thyme and white wine. HOMEMADE VEAL SAUSAGE 100 gram/200 gram, grilled tomato, eggplant puree. GRILLED CALAMARI, garlic, cherry tomatoes, yogurt and herbs, was elegantly presented and tasted heavenly.

For our main dishes Yarden served us- STRACCETTI PASTA, with asparagus, garden peas, fresh lemon,coriander seeds and manchego cheese, wonderful play of flavor and texture in our mouths. SIRLOIN STEAK - 220 beef broth, Jerusalem artichoke, an extraordinary fine dish, juicy, so juicy with every bite we couldn't stop groaning in joy . FRESH FISH FILLET, garden vegetables, butter and white wine.

Dessert- VANILLA MASCARPONE with strawberries, and cookie crumble, simply magic, and  CREME BRULE semifreddo, the wonderful flavors exploded in our mouths and left us breathless!! Um, ya, DESSERTGASM at it's most ;)

The Local was definitely love at first bite! Powerful and original flavors in every chomp chomp!

Sarona market is a new upscale, chic, indoor market located in the center of Tel Aviv. For all you New Yorkers out there, it resembles a bit the Chelsea market :) Many dining options, hipsters, families and many stylish individuals. Sarona market has a variety of wonderful cheese, fish and bread stores, all local produce.

We were totally in the mood for meat! We heard of a superb restaurant called ARAIS so we rushed our booties there because we were totally ravenous! Arais has a very cozy, warm atmosphere and we were delighted and excited to start our dinner!!

Our kind waiter started us of with SPICY TOMATO SALAD-  with TAHINI - fresh and hot!!, CAESAR SALAD, garlicky and crunchy, and THE GREEN MARKET SALAD- tres healthy and rejuvenating.

 For our entrees we were treated to the ENTRECOTE- was tres buttery tender , CHICKEN SKEWER- a real pleasure to consume and the FILET MIGNON which was very moist and felt lovely in our mouths.

Each steak comes with a private charcoal to keep your steak hot- such a COOL and UNIQUE idea!!

Yes, all us single ladies are looking for prince charming.....but guess what?! We found something even better!!! We found our KING! We don't mind sharing because there is plenty to go around. He was around once, disappeared and now he is back, better than ever!!! (For all you married folks...well...um...we are sure your other halfs won't mind you having a rendezvous with a KING...once in a while...or...shhh just don't tell;)  Our king is so tender, moist, fresh and hot that we couldn't wait to put him in our mouths!!! Oh BURGER KING, welcome back!

The re-opening of BURGER KING in Tel Aviv was a great extravaganza! We were ones of the lucky few that  received  golden tickets to the VIP all you can eat burger event!  Like seriously! Who doesn't love a big fat juicy burger?!! Not just any burger but the KING of WHOPPERS!!!

Some girls like Birkin bags and some girls (like us) prefer Burger King bags filled with golden crunchy fries, crispy melt in your mouth onion rings, a variety of tasty unique sauces and of course a tasty,juicy BURGER, with a side of garden fresh salads!!!

Burger king first wanted us to "have it our way" now he wants us to "be our way"- Whatever the king wants we will definitely obey as long as we can have our way with any of its delicious specialties!! We definitely got down and dirty!!
