Who doesn't LOVE cocktails!! We sure LOVE'EM and are tres excited to let you all know that COCKTAIL FESTIVAL 2016, in the HATACHANA  is about to start!!!

CHEF ARIANA-was taught by one of the top Mixologits to make a cool cocktail!

This festival invites ya'll to enjoy and taste the best liquor brands made by the best cocktail mixologists in the city. These talented and experienced cocktail geniuses will be using unique and advanced techniques.

Tel Aviv's cocktails scene is known all over the world and is exploading , what a perfect reason for celebration festivities-its a definite must! A celebration of creative and tasty drinks!
 Festival visitors will be able to walk around the pavilion and taste the delectable cocktails being professionally made by true cocktail connoisseurs deeply versed in not only the flavors and variations of spirits but their history and cultural significance as well.. All the cocktails are originally created especially for this festival!! And will be served in super unique cocktail cups! Not only will you gain some serious knowledge but you will enjoy a memorable experience!

If you are looking for authentic Jewish Eastern European food then KETON restaurant is EXACTLY where it's at.

Keton has been a trademark restaurant in Tel Aviv since the 1940's. Many of Keton's regulars were famous writers, painters, artists and actors. Keton kept a guest book throught all the years where important Israeli figures drew pictures, wrote poems and love letters. People such as Menashe Kadishman, Yigal Tumarkin and many more wrote in the guest book.  All these wonderful memories are displayed on the restaurant's wall. Such a unique treat!!!

We started with the FISH ROE SALAD- light , fluffy and perfectly made, CHOPPED LIVER -seriously cannot get any better!, VARENIKIS- melt in your mouth delicious, Home Made PICKLED VEGETABLES , BREAD AND VEGETARIAN KNISH.

For our main dishes- THE VEAL TONGUE with side dishes of mashed potatoes and givetch was decadent and delicious, SOLE FISH SCHNITZEL with side dishes of mashed potatoes and givetch, crunchy, meaty, and fun to eat (especially for kids) , BEEF IN GRAVY with a side dish of mashed potatoes and steamed cabbage- fantasticly cooked and seasoned perfectly.

For our sweet tooth we ordered the major delicious BISCUIT CAKE- sweet, creamy and light ,the FRUIT COMPOTE- a wonderfully fresh dessert made out of whole or pieces of fruit in sugar syrup. The fruits are cooked in water with sugar and spices. Very refreshing and healthy!

Keton serves cuisine that didn't only made love to our palates but also satisfied our tummies as well. Cozy and unpretentious, Bohemian  smart and homemade  yet you can still watch all the chic passerbyers on dizengoff street , absolutely pleasurable in every way. Top notch food and wonderful service where long time loyal customers come every weekend as well as new hungry , interested clients as well!

The dashing chef Chris Golding of Nobu and Zuma restaurants is now in Tel Aviv!! Aren't we lucky!! We arrived at Lima Nippo excited to sample Chris's Peruvian Japanese Cuisine called Nikkei.

Lima Nippo is located in the heart of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, which is turning tres trendy these days. The restaurant is decorated very chic yet cozy, dimly lit, soft velvet couches which are very comfortable if you are wearing a mini dress, edgy, NY style and basically a sexy vibe.

We were invited to try the new summer menu!

The handsome charming chef Chris (sorry, don't get excited ladies, he is taken by an Israeli girl) personally served us each of his delectable dishes. He started us off with Plantain Chips with tartare Musar, Tuna and Salmon, Mixed Ceviche with Grapes and Fresh Almonds,  fresh and melts in your mouth, delicious.Next he presented us with the Sea Bass Tartar with cucumber and avocado, Tempura Seabass with yellow Chilli dressing and Burnt tomato salsa-was totally sublime and comforting , Cauliflower anticucho-flawless , Nasu Miso with pickled mushrooms, Beef Fillet crushed purple potatoes - So amazing, it was as if we had a party in our mouths, Marinated tomatoes and spicy beetroot, Sushi - Spicy beef with crispy fried shallots, salmon and avocado- perfection.
For our sweet tooth we were treated to : Pistachio and olive oil cake, frozen berries and white chocolate- so wonderfully succulent it is sinful,Chocolate cremeux, whisky, orange and cherries- creamy and heavenly.

                       The delicious and super strong but sweet cocktails we drank-  SICHUAN SIDECAR- Hennessy VS Cognac, fresh raspberries, elderflower, lime &Sichuan pepper- It gets you in the mood!

First we eat ,then we do everything else!
