CHARITY GALA DINNER

Raising money for charities is always a go for us. So when we were invited to Loewenstein Hospital Rehabilitation center charity gala dinner we didnt think twice about going.

Lowenstein hospital is the largest rehabitlitation center in Israel.
Patients come to Lowenstein from all over Israel, from all sectors, civilian and military as well as from abroad.
The Charity dinner was hosted by celebrity TV host Dvir Benedek at the lovely Venetian event hall who welcomed the talented David Naor to perform on stage with his unique voice! We were fortunate to get to hear him sing our favorite ... opera! Absolutely amazing! As well as the famous soprano singer Yael Levita whom took our breath away with her elegant beautiful voice. All this while the famous Raanana Symphonette Orchestra was playing in the backgorund!!

In between all these magnificent performances we were served delectable starters of house bread, smoked duck breast , smoked salmon, scorched sirloin, foie gras, and Panchanella salad.
Seconds: Miso Salmon and Venetian lilly's. For entrees we had a choice off beef filet or goose leg and for dessert a platter of fruit and a variety of delicious sweets.

A wonderful event for a wonderful cause!

THE JOY OF ITALIAN CUISINE!

Who deosnt love Italian food?! The pizza pasta dishes are delicious! Filled with a variety of healthy ingredients as garlic, oregano, basilicum, olive oil, tomatoes and much much more, you can't but not LOVE Italian!
We are obviously always on the lookout for the tastiest dishes around the world and most importantly the most professional and kind service as well to share with you all. Obviously then, we were so happy as to find La Lasagna, a kosher, authentic Italian restaurant located right in the middle of the chic Dizengoff street.

With it's comfy tables, elegant table cloths yet informal, and cozy ambience we could'nt wait for our evening to begin. You have a choice either to sit indoors or outdoors. Due to the beautiful year round weather we opted to sit outside.

We were greeted by Joseph, the kind helpful owner who started us of with delicious appetizers:a massive cheese platter filled with delectable cheeses and bread, Bruschetta Pomodoro and Mozzarella- with tomatoes, olive oil, garlic and Mozzarella, so fresh and pizza Margarita, simplicity at its best!

For our entrees we ordered the Butaraga Pasta - for fish lovers this delicacy is an absolute delight , Eggplant Pasta , soft, fresh with a perfect combination of ingredients , and the Four cheese pasta which was fragrant and full of delightful cheesy flavors (generous portions) with excellent texture, it was outrageously delicious!

Our dessert - Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, fluffy, creamy and a joy to eat! Tiramisu- an absolute treat!

The food at La Lasagna is an absolute glorious delight! Comforting, hearty dishes and hearty homey service as well! It is a wonderful restaurant for any kind of celebration.We immensly recommend it :)

PREDATORS ARE US!

Yes, we are carnivores, and we are proud carnivores! So obviously we have to let you in on our new fave restaurant, hey sharing is caring!

For all you meat lovers out there we are proud to introduce you to Canaan, not only is the cuisine there divine but everything is kosher as well!!

Canaan is located in Tel Aviv right next to to the trendy Neve Tsedek area. With it's beautiful contemprary decor, white and black furnishing and tall glass windows, Canaan reeks elegance and sophistication.

We started with a delicious focaccia served with garlic confit, burnt eggplant cream, was hot and fluffy and the spreads were velvety and gratifying. The Sirloin Carpaccio- with aged Balsamic Vinegar, walnuts and capers -fresh and perfect, the kebab- with grilled onions and vegetables, superb and the Red Drum ceviche with avocadoe, red pepper, red onion and spicy chilli, and a fresh vegetable salad.

For our entrees we each ordered 300 grams of entrecote steak which was an absolute dream come true. Impeccably grilled, juicy and aromatic- pure culinary pleasure!

Dessert- our server laid out our last course of sweets which were seducing us to sink our teeth into them. Delicious!!

At Canaan each dish is carefuly prepared and thoughtfully presented. Canaan's cuisine is definitley the pearl you find in the oyster!! The staff is attentive and pleaseant, the ambiance and quality of food is exactly what you would expect from one of the finest restaurants.A dining experience you will not forget!

TABLE TALK!

One of our fave restaurants in Tel Aviv is Table Talk so what better place to spend New Years Eve than there!

Table Talk is located in the hottest location in Tel Aviv center, right next to the famous Dizengoff Center mall and a few steps away from our house :)

SO, what was in store for us on the most spectacular night of the year?: Dancing, Rock and Roll music by the "Molly Coddles" band, sexy DJ, champagne, delectable cuisine and lots of fun suprises.

On the menu:

Starters: Jerusalem Artichoke soup with white truffle- creamy, fragrant, and perfect for the wintery evening.
Beef Carpaccio with mushroom cream, 20 year old balsamic and pecorino cheese- fresh and scrumptious.
Sea Bass ceviche with gazpacho sauce- light and melt in your mouth!

Entrees Beef cheek Bourguignon- lip smacking and toatally something Fred Flinstone would love to sink his teeth in!
Assorted fish and seafood a la Bouillabaisse - bursting with delicious flavors.

Dessert: An amazing assortment of absolutely delicious cakes which was pure indulgence. A marvelous evening-end to a new beginning of 2018!

2018 started of with a fun sexy bang at Table Talk- perfection at it's most!

Table Talk is a perfect place to celebrate anything! With the wonderful ambience, professional service, fashionable furnishings and coziness this is definitely the place to be every day.

OH MIKAN! HOW WE MISS YOU!

So you are in Belgrade and you are in the mood for true delicious authentic traditional Serbian cuisine with generous portions, authentic decor, outstanding service, live music, and a super cozy dinner experience? Well then dears, MIKAN RESTAURANT is the ONLY place we recommend for that!! Trust us! You will enter, eat, drink, sing and fall in love with the place. We sure did!!

Located in the heart of Belgrade, Konak Mikan not only awaits you with delectable Serbian cuisine but with cozy comfortable air conditioned rooms as well. Konak Mikan is also a homey inn located right next to the famous Knez Mihaliova street.!

Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the charming owner Igor and seated at our cozy table eager to taste all the goodies that we saw being served at the other tables. The restaurant was full, a band was playing, everyone was singing, drinking eating and enjoying a memorable night.

We were started off with some traditional Serbian delicacies of fresh cabbage salad, radishes,olives, roasted pepper, avjar, tomato with feta cheese, pita bread, kajmak Prebranac (Serbian baked beans)

Our main dishes were Grilled Calamari which were soft with just the right amount of beautiful sprinkled spices, Pork Medallions, absolutely delicious , and the Beef Filet which was tender and mouthwatering.

For a perfect ending to a wonderful night we were served a dish of heavenly authentic Serbian desserts which consisted of walnut fingers, dry pie with walnuts and pumpkin pie.

During our dinner we enjoyed this wonderful band that sang "New York New York" to us...cause we are from NYC :)

The amazing, talented, handsome owner of Mikan, Igor, presenting Ariana a gift of his finest Rakjya!

It is a must to stop by and enjoy dinner at Mikan, not only is the cuisine an absolute delicacy but the owner and workers are an absolute treat!
Mikan is the best restaurant in Belgrade to celebrate any event and now, with Christmas and New Years coming up Mikan is definitely the place for it! We recommend it with much love!
