FRANCE IN THE HEART OF TEL AVIV!

Upon entering LILI 24, we got this cozy feeling all through our bodies. It has a very European feel as it is a French restaurant owned by a true Frenchie. The dim lighting, beautiful patio, white table cloth, wooden walls , all very homey for a high end kosher French restaurant.

We started with the FRIED FOIE GRAS ESCALOOPE- with caramelized apples which was overwhelmingly excellent CAESER SALAD-tres pleasurable, SALMON TARTAR- delightfuly fresh and the HOME MADE BAGUETTE- with olive Tapenade.

Entrees- RIB EYE STEAK- from the butcher, a wonderful portion of medium rare excellence, perfect for sinking your teeth into, BEEF FILET ROSSINI - filet minion, pan fried in butter, topped with a whole, hot, and mouthwatering slice of fresh foie gras beautified with black truffle and finished with Madeira demi-glace sauce, it was handsomely presented and welcomed with a red carpet in our mouths with every bite , BEEF FILET -with wine sauce. and garlic Mayo, absolutely tender, and seductive. All with a crunchy side of fries. Boom! We recommend you get all meat medium rare, a bit of red is good- hey, we are Romanian vampires don't forget ;)

Lili 24 has exquisite food quality! You cannot go wrong, anything you choose from the menu, from the appetizers to dessert will satisfy your taste buds! Everything you put in your mouth will make you groan in sheer pleasure. You will feel utterly satiated.

YOU HAD US AT SUSHI!

KYOTO - besides once being the beautiful capital of Japan, it is also one of THE BEST sushi Restaurants in Israel.

We were excited to go for dinner at Kyoto not only because the sushi is delectable or because of the professional service but due to the fact that the restaurant's owner, Ami Lugassy, of blessed memory, was a dear friend of ours.

We were welcomed by a very stunning hostess whom ushered us to our table. Sitting behind us was a table of affluent tourists , on the bar a couple of older, tycoon looking gentlemen ,outside sitting at a long table was our friend Oded Lugassy (Ami's son, who is now the wonderful co-owner of Kyoto, together with Shimon) and a few lovely models. A perfect mix of astounding cuisine and trendsetters!

Now, it was time to be spoiled KYOTO style. Oded started us of with DELICIOUS cocktails! SAKE LYCHEE MARTINI 's and since one of us totally obsesses over super spicy cocktails a special piquant drink was made! Since we were starting to feel tipsy we decided it was time to eat!

Our appetizers- Japanese Pickles , Sashimi New Style Salad-thinly sliced in marinade- healthy,delicate and delicious and 3 Hand Roles - hot cone , hot salmon, yellow tail grouper in Teryaki sauce- out of this world!!

Our mains- Kyoto Sandwich- chopped salmon and tuna, spicy mayonaise,chives,avocado wrapped in avocado and tampura sprinkles- tasted like magic!A carousel of sensations! Spicy tuna crunchy- Gonken Salmon - rice wrapped with salmon with a touch of salmon skin and Teriyaki sauce, and Spicy Tuna- you can really taste the quality of the fresh fish!
All the sushi comes in a beautiful presentation!

Dessert- Kasata (Ice cream Sandwich) -Chocolaty and amazing and Kadaif - sweet and sugary, just how we like it!

A wonderful place to go on a date, girls night out ,celebrate any occasion and basically to just come and eat upscale sushi!!Totally an IT restaurant with a spectacular atmosphere !

SUMMER STATE OF MIND!

AFRODITA launched its summer leisure and pyjama collection as well as its beauty care line for summer 2016 and we were so excited to check out what's in store for us all!

DON'T THINK STYLE, JUST FEEL IT!!

It's that time again! What time you ask? T-shirt time!!

Due to the success of the previous T-Shirt launch, Castro and Tel Aviv Museum of art are showcasing Tea Shirt Thursdays all through August! This means that from 21pm till midnight Tel Aviv museum of art and Castro fashion house open the doors of Tel Aviv Museum free of charge for the public! There will be exhibitions, workshops, performances, tours, surprises and of course the unique pop up store which is selling the new Capsule collection! KEEP CALM AND EAT SUSHI :)

FLORENTINE, one of the hippest neighborhoods in Tel Aviv : besides all the warehouses, many bars, restaurants, artist workshops and beautiful apt buildings have been built in the past few years and have made Florentin one of the up and coming chic areas in Tel Aviv.

In the midst of this bustling bohemian hub stands a quaint little sushi restaurant called YOKO SUSHI. We decided we must go and check it out! Upon entering we were greeted by the sweet waitress who seated us at a table by the window, where we could see the sexy hipsters passing by.

You can either order from the waitress or from the awesome computers at each table. We opted to order from the server.

We started with the Japanese Pickles- root vegetables in spicy vinaigrette , Sashimi Salad - root vegetables, red peppers, cabbage, red tuna slices, salmon slices, in vinaigrette sesame sauce, fresh and absolutely delectable, Salmon kebab- 3 tempura Salmon kebabs in Teriyaki sauce which was crunchy and delicious and the Gyoza-. 3 dumplings each filled with different stuffings of shrimps and sweet potato.

Our main dishes- 3 delicious hand rolls with fresh salmon, crispy and appetizing. Salmon skin roll- so good we just couldn't get enough ! Trio Fish- Salmon, tuna, white fish, wrapped with avocado , so good and unique! Special Smoked Salmon- which melted in our mouths, and the Combination for 2 which consisted of : 8 pieces of Spicy Tuna with cucumber and carrots, 8 pieces of avocado, cucumber, and shiitake, 4 pieces of Futomaki Surimi, avocado,cucumber and chives, 8 pieces of Maki Knafiu with seabass, and 4 nigiri salmon with tamago, shrimps and tuna - pure perfection and just the right amount!

Dessert- Little Switzerland- chocolate meringue with pecans, mascarpone cream, with crispy bitter chocolate and a drizzle of white chocolate and the Creme Brulee-. Both deserts were outstanding!
