OUR LOVE- THE DEAD SEA!

When in need of a true, relaxing vacation, the DEAD SEA is the most obvious option! Not only is the Dead Sea a relaxing vacation but it is a healthy one as well and our favorite <3

We arrived at the luxurious Daniel hotel and were immediately welcomed by the wonderful staff and ushered to our beautiful Royal Suite Room located on the 8th floor. On the table a basket of fruits, Roy Chocolate, natural spring water and a bottle of wine awaited us. After cheering with our red wine for the fun weekend ahead we exited our room to the ENORMOUS balcony. Wow! Our room's balcony was tres HUGE, with a phenomenal jacuzzi and the best part... a breathtaking view of the Dead Sea and Jordan! PERFECTION at its most.

After relaxing on our balcony, taking in the view and breathing in the Dead Sea air which is filled with BROMINE ( Bromine is well known for its calming effect, it is in the air around the Dead Sea in concentrations 20 times greater then anywhere else on Earth) we got into our swimsuits! We put the soft robes on (that were waiting for us in our suite) and headed to the heated salt water pools from the dead sea!

Ah, we were finally here! We finally got to dip our sweet tuchases in the hot magical salt water pools! After soaking ourselves silly, we rested on the lounger chairs, took in the mountain view in front of us, jumped into the jacuzzi, and dipped in the truly bewitching sulphur pools. The sulphur pools not only make your skin especially silky smooth but they help mend the aches and pains of your joints and they heal your soul from the day to day stress which we all have!

We needed a break from all this relaxation so we headed to relax some more at the VIP traklin were they served delicious treats: salads, all kinds of cheeses you can imagine, fruits, pastries, cakes, breads, tea, chocolate, wine and more. All this with the beautiful view of the extraordinary mountains.

Once we felt we were de-stressed and relaxed we headed up to our oh so chic Royal Suite Room, showered up, rested some more, and were off to dinner!

We headed to dinner and were so excited to see the wonderful smorgasbord of delicious cuisine. We were so famished from a day filled of dipping that we coudn't wait to get started on eatting.

After diner it was time for some fun so we headed to the lobby to hear the live singer who got everyone, including us, on their feet and dancing! After a long day of sheer fun it was time to sleep because soon it would be time to wake up to another day of pure hedonism.

We awoke to another day in paradise! We got dressed and headed to the dining hall for a wonderful Israeli breakfast smorgasbord!

After a few days of pure indulgence and absolute relaxation it was time to head back to our home in the bustling beautiful Tel Aviv.
Thank you Daniel hotel for a wonderful time, you left us feeling healthier, relaxed and wanting more of you.

BICYCLE CITY!

Amsterdam we are following in your footsteps! Amsterdam city is owned by cyclists, and riding a bike is a way of life. Not only is it cheaper then owning a car but it is safer as well.
As Amsterdam, Tel Aviv is a bustling, crowded, fast city and taking the car out of the parking lot is not such a good idea because you would be just sitting in traffic for hours. For the past couple of years bicyclists have been taking over Tel Aviv, and the city has turned into a bike friendly one with special bicycle routes and most excitingly awesome bikes with really cool gadgets.

Obviously we were tres excited with our new bikes that we got from O-FUN store located on the trendy Ben Yehuda street which is a 5 minute bicycle ride from the beach!! Not only can you buy bicycles there but if you are here on vacation you can rent a bicycle and ride all over the beautiful Tel Aviv City.

The most important thing to get right after you purchase your bike is a high end lock. Bike thieves are all over the place so you must take care of your new purchase.

We were very excited to receive FOLDY LOCK'S bike locks!

They are not only funky looking but also compact and very easy to use.

ARMANDO- OUR LOVER BY THE BEACH!

Located right across the magnificent Tel Aviv beach stands the amazing ARMANDO restaurant. So not only do you get to eat outstanding food, but you get to enjoy the fabulous beach view while eating!

We were greeted by the charming owner Ben who seated us at one of the best tables in the restaurant and started bringing out all his 14 fresh homemade mezze delicacies. He surprised us with a tasty beef carpaccio.

For our entrees we let the maestro choose and order for us three wonderful dishes. We were severed with : the ANTIAS (yellow tale amberjack) absolutely delicious with just the right amount of seasonings, fresh SHULA FILET (Branzino, European Seabass), wonderful flavor combination, well baked and extremely tasteful and the BEEF FILET -perfectly tasty and irresistible.

While enjoying our delectable cuisine our heads bopped to the super fun 80's and 90's music playing in the background!

For our dessert we ordered the Souffle chocolate and the Cappuccino tower .which both sated us with soft, creamy decadent loveliness.

Generous dishes elegantly presented, high end staff, impeccable service, beach view and coziness is what you get at ARMANDO.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

MASHYA!

Oh how we love our hotel restaurants, they are mostly all super chic and fun so it's always a pleasure. Obviously we were tres excited to check out the sexy contemporary Mashya restaurant located in the very trendy and sophisticated Mendeli St. Hotel.

Elegance, that is what Mashya presented us right away upon entering. A very cosmopolitan vibe, yet on account of the beautiful greenery on the walls it makes you feel like you are sitting in a beautiful forest.The outdoor feeling while sitting indoors is utterly gratifying. The very delightful and eclectic hostess seated us at the bar and we were instantly greeted by the professional mixologist. Just the way we like it, drinks always before anything and everything!

After we deep throated our liqueur in our system it was definitely time to taste Chef Yossi Shitrit's mouthwatering masterpieces that everyone is raving about all over town.

While waiting for our appetizers to arrive we were spoiled with super mini pitas with shakshuka and humus! So darling and scrumptious!

We smelled our appetizers arriving, oh the aroma, mesmerizing!
Crispy Shrimp- with roasted beets and sour cream, Mediterranean Crabs and Shrimps - with kale, Jerusalem Artichoke and cumin, so good we ravished it right away,10 Spices taboon Frenne with labaneh and spicy matbucha, Raw Fish- paprika, miso, horse radish and marinated black radish, Poached Egg Yolk- Baladi Spinach, so fresh we thrust it in our mouths. The starters were so fresh that our entire bodies were on fire with desperate desire!

Our entrees- 2 fillet prime cuts of the day, one 300 grams , the second 250 grams- the meat was super velvety, we groaned as the waves of pleasure swept through us, and a wonderful Wild Fish- with celery root ,brown fish broth and toasted pine nuts, perfection which definitely rubbed us the right way!

Dessert, dessert, dessert! Almond Parfait- almond financier, marzipan,sugar coated almonds, yogurt cremo, and yogurt tawill. Chocolate Mousse-cremeux, dark chocolate ice cream, gianduja and cocoa leaf. Our sweets were playfully tempting us to eat them, so we plunged right in and inserted them in our warm awaiting mouths. SUPERB!

The cuisine at MASHYA is so good it is definitely not meant for a quicky but meant for a marriage. We will be back for more , Mashya our love.
