Are you single in the city? We are single in the city! as many other girls. Why? Well, we are all picky. We know what we are looking for and will never settle for anything less. But what do you do when you do find the man you like? That cute guy with the glasses reading a book in Starbucks? or that guy with the suit on the subway? the man on line at Wholefoods or Traders Joe? How do you get his attention? We learned on our own untanned skin (sun is bad for you...enough with the tanning girls!) the dos, the don'ts and the hows of fishing in the close to perfect fish. (There is no such thing as perfect and quite frankly our dears who would want perfect anyway? Hello, that would be totally boring! We need some adventure in our lives!)

1. Men like HAPPY girls. Smile. Don't be rude and cocky. Be feminine yet not ditsy. Be approachable, A smile is welcoming.
2. Be happy, laugh at his jokes (if they are funny of course) but tease him a bit. You cannot put him on a pedestal at all times and please him. Pull a man down a few notches once in a while and he will only try and prove himself to you more. Make him feel nice but not king. He will run after you more. Word.
3. Touch him slightly here and there. He will melt and feel more comfortable. Men are insecure creatures eve though they look strong and calm. A small touch on the shoulder or hand will make him feel that you are interested .
4. Eye contact- You don't have to stare deep in his eyes into his soul. Do not be creepy. Lingering eye contact will make him feel that you are interested.
5. Body Language - Do not sit with arms crossed. It is the opposite of smiling . It makes you seem closed and unapproachable. Men will be scared away.
6. Use his name- People love to hear their name in a conversation. Especially the opposite sex. It gives a sense of intimacy.
7. Confidence.
