CAMPANELLO CAFFE

     Is there anything better then Italian cuisine?! It is one of our favorites! In between our worldly travels we heard of a unique authentic restaurant that everybody was gossiping about. As we love to be in the know how, our 5'10 frames took quick and long giraffe steps toward CAMPANELLO CAFFE!
   Campanello Cafe, lovely bijou restaurant in the heart of Tel Aviv. Great, young and pleasant vibe with exceptionally good food.

We started with the the Fresh Caprese Salad- Mozzarella on a bed of cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, red onion, basil and olive oil, marvelous fresh seasonal greens, the Foccacia arugula and parmesano- served with olive oil and balsamico, rich vegetable Minestrone soup- multi flavourish, and the Margherita pizza- Tomato sauce, Mozzarella and basil, thin crusted, delicious, crisp and fully flavored!

For our entrees - Spaghetti Bolognese -Beef Ragu with root vegetables was succulent, Fettuccine Cream and Salmon- in butter, garlic, asparagus and lemon zest was sea fresh and felt like a party in our mouths, Fettuccine Shrimp and Calamari- Aglio Olio, white wine and cherry tomatoes- totally fork tender.

Dessert - Hot Fudge- flour free molten chocolate cake was cloyingly sweet, Tiramisu- mascarpone cream with ladyfingers and espresso, so delicious and sinful!

Campanello is a great place to enjoy real authentic Italian cuisine in the center of jolly Tel Aviv! and now we are off to dance the night away in one of the trendy hotspots near by till the wee hours of the night, or make that till the very early hours of the morning! Hey, we did say Tel Aviv, didn't we? Tel Aviv is not a city that sleeps. Tel Avivians play hard darlings!

It was  found in the 1800's that the scent of vanilla increases a man's sexual propensity, and a wonderful way to use the vanilla beans is to add it to a glass of champagne.

2. Chocolate- Chocolate contains phenyethylamine which triggers endorphins in the brain and gives a natural high. Chocolate gives you a major sense of satisfication.

3. Chilli- contains a chemical known as capsaicin which promotes the release of endorphins in the brain causing a temporary high.As an aphrodisiac for men, it stimulates the energy for passion!

4. STEAKS (we love our steaks! Any big chunk of meat in our mouths is a total high!) - Steaks have an excellent source of zinc which is known to increase a man's libido by preventing the production of prolacting which can decrease a man's sexual needs!

                                                    STANDING ON MY FEET

Israel is known for having unconventional beautiful, strong and powerful women. Tonight we attended an exhibition by Stiletto Magazine (by Laisha)  honoring a group of formidable women held at Port 15 event space, located in the spectacular Ottoman building in the heart of Summit Garden Old Jaffa.

Dorin Frankfurt - a leading fashion designer (we were her models and presenters :))

                    Illana Shoshan- Former Miss Israel, Model and Social Activist for Women's Rights.


Gila Almagor- Israeli actress and author- "queen of the Israeli cinema and theater". Tzufit Grant -Israeli Television Host, talented singer Sarit Hadad and many more.


A buffet of beautiful inspirational women and great hors d'oeuvres was served.

 We obviously headed straight for the bar as we saw interesting cocktails being prepared. Our desirable mixologist created sexy cocktails for us based on berry vodka - super delish, we obviously had to have a couple more ;)

After everyone was tipsy, chatty and merry, it was perfect timing for the gifted vocalist Shiri Maimon to perform.

It was a beautiful evening filled with class and elegance, strength and high impact.
