Hello to you my new friends. My name is Ariana and I am a chef/actress and model from Romania! I would love to share with you some of my authentic, mouthwatering Romanian recipes. I would love for you to enjoy everything I grew up with and raised my daughters on.

Bon Appetit !!

YOU must try my traditional Romanian potato salad! Delicious!! Manifique!

SALATE DE BOEUF

· 2 large russet potatoes

· 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced small (or use beef, turkey, ham, hot dogs, etc.)

· 1 cup peeled carrots, boiled and diced small

· 1 cup peeled parsnips, boiled and diced small

· 5 large hard-cooked eggs, diced

· 1 small onion, diced small

· 2 celery stalks, diced small

· 1 1/2 cups diced pickles

· 1 1/2 cups frozen peas

1. Boil potatoes in their skins in salted water until fork tender. Remove from water and peel off the skin when they are cool enough to handle. Dice small and reserve.

2. In a large bowl, add potatoes, chicken or other meat, carrots, parsnips, eggs, onion and celery. Squeeze the diced pickles lightly in a paper towel to remove some of their juice (otherwise the salad will be too watery) and add to the rest of the diced ingredients.

3. Place frozen peas in a colander and run cold water over them to defrost. Drain completely, patting dry if necessary, and add to the other diced ingredients in the large bowl.

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minute Total Time: 60

Yield: 4 servings Salata de Boeuf

· * Salad De Boueff is all about the secret homemade mayonnaise. The secret authentic Romanain recipe for the mayonnaise will be in Ariana's book coming out in 2015. In the meantime for the regular dressing you can use-

Dressing:

1 to 2 cups mayonnaise, or to taste

1 tablespoon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Oh NY fashion week , all your shows, parties and after parties left us TOTALLY fashioned out this weekend!

So we decided to chill and went to the Natural History Museum( FYI it is SUGGESTED PRICE every day , so basically you can pay a PENNY and get a ticked! They write it in small letters, but since we are true hustlers we know all the tricks ;)) and to see the movie LUCY with sexy Scarlett Johanseen - fuckin unique movie ! Check it out babes!

Anyways.......this year after years of being on the runway we decided to just enjoy NYFW and party it up! One of our fave parties was the Made for Maybelline party at Milk Studios. The famous Romanian chef Ariana Samuels (don't worry, we will be putting up her secret recipes really soon ;)) took us there (she is also our tres sexy single model/actress mom) . Models, actors, fashionistas and the occasional wannabes gathered at this fun NYFW party . Great DJ playing a mix of 80's and house music. Fun bites- hamburgers, cucumber salad, shrimp skewers and brownies. Chit chat, red wine, water, twerking, shmerking, hot guys, nail art (floral prints are tres chick for summer 2014!) Alexander Wang boots(that go over the knee with Knees pad-must have!) and no makeup (Marc Jacob style as we saw on Karlie Kloss and Adrian Lima. Fashion babes fashion. Don't forget sweet friends: Different is beautiful. So stand out, be CONFIDENT, wear whatever you think makes you look AMAZING. Take points by fashion experts, yes, but don't change! Make the fashion fit your style.

STEAKGASMS!!!

STEAK BABY!! S T E AK !

There is nothing better than a BIG, FAT , JUICY........ oh you naughty girls!! We were talking about STEAK!! But then again.... Big fat juicy "other things" are not bad either ;))
So we tried this STEAKHOUSE called RESERVE CUT. It is a contemporary kosher restaurant and steakhouse located at The Setai Wall Street, it is under OU Glatt cerification for all you sexy kosher folks out there. Now, we may be Jewish girls, but we are totally not kosher, we love our seafood and white meat ;) but we heard SO much of the tender, delectable meat here it was a must go!
HUGE restaurant, high ceilings, perfect place, for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers and anniversaries!
We decided to go straight in for the kill and order the RC "Filet Mignion" !! Ohhhhhhh mama!! Medium rare, (we like the blood baby, did we tell you we are total carnivores!) , crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, not chewy, about 7 chews a bite, and totally melt in your mouth deliciousness!
We had multiple STEAKGASMS!!!
Can't wait to go back and make out with a new piece of meat!

BEAUTY TIPS!!!

BEAUTY TIPS!

1) The French way! - Spray a bit of perfume in the air and walk into it. You only need a bit of fragrance, you are not supposed to be able to smell it too much on yourself only a tiny bit!

2) Eyelash curler!! It totally opens your eyes!

3) Rough feet ? Try a home made Banana mask!! Mash half a banana in a bowl, mix in a few drops of honey, then massage into your heels. Wrap your feet in plastic wrap and allow the mixture to soak in for at least 10 minutes. Rinse, then gently exfoliate the area with a pumice stone.

4) Oily hair? You don't feel like washing your hair every day but you turn into a grease ball quickly. Dry shampoo our sweet friends! Dry Shampoo! One to try - Dove Dry Shampoo- Refresh+Care . Or just plain old baby powder on the roots of your hair, it totally soaks up excess oil.

5) You ran out of shaving cream? No worries! Lather your legs with conditioner instead of soap. It totally leaves your legs silky smooth!

6) Did you run out of Nail Polish remover? You can remove cracked or chipped nail polish by applying a clear top coat to the nail and removing it promptly with a cotton ball!
